Ingredients
- 1 Stick (113 g) Salted Butter
- 3 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Vinegar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup Milk + 2 tablespoon
- ¼ teaspoon yellow food color mixed in 1 teaspoon water
Instructions
In a mixer, add butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
During beating, vanilla essence.

Now add dry ingredients, 3 tablespoon all purpose flour + baking powder mixed alternatively
add 3 tablespoon buttermilk and beat again.
Add another egg and beat. Repeat the procedure by adding 4 tablespoon all purpose flour + baking powder mixed alternatively with 4 tablespoon buttermilk and beat. Repeat this procedure once more time.
In order to prepare the cocoa mixture, add ½ cup milk in ½ cup cocoa powder and mix it together, set aside. Add 2 tablespoon more milk if needed.
Split the batter in 2 portions.
Add yellow food coloring in one portion and mix it.
add cocoa mixture in another portion and fold it.
Spread out evenly alternatively portions of yellow batter and cocoa batter with alternate multiple layers.
Create a swirl with the help of a stick.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 F (175/176 C) for 40-45 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
