2019, shortly after facing personal challenges during the birth of my second child. Cooking

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Karachi, Pakistan, my journey is a testament to the
power of encouragement and self-belief. From an early age, my parents instilled in me the
value of pursuing one's passions. Despite their hopes for me to pursue medicine, they
wholeheartedly supported my decision to delve into Computer and Information Systems
Engineering—a choice that shaped my path towards success.
My story took a new chapter when I met my husband during university and got married in
2014, relocating to Chicago, United States. It was here, with unwavering support from my
husband, that I found the courage to nurture my budding interest in cooking alongside my
career. His belief in my abilities boosted my confidence, inspiring me to explore and develop
my culinary skills.
Today, I cherish my dual roles as a professional in the tech industry and as a passionate home
cook. My journey from Karachi to Chicago is marked by the constant support of my loved
ones, propelling me to achieve remarkable milestones in both my personal and professional

As a loving mother of two wonderful children - a spirited 8-year-old girl and an energetic 5-year-old
